Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Convr is a static unit-conversion website. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site, which browser preferences are stored, and how the site is prepared for possible future advertising.
Information processed by Convr
Values entered into converters are processed locally in your browser. Convr does not send those values to an application server, save them in a database, or associate them with an account. URL query parameters may contain a value when you open a shareable conversion link; the URL can therefore appear in ordinary hosting access logs.
Technical delivery data
Like most static websites, the hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser information, and diagnostic or security logs. Convr does not currently combine this information with user profiles.
Browser storage and consent choices
Convr stores the selected color theme and privacy preferences in localStorage. These entries remain on the device until changed or deleted. They are used to remember interface choices and are not transmitted by Convr. See the Cookie Policy for names, purposes, and controls.
Contact messages
When you use the contact form, Convr processes the name, email address, subject, message, submission time, and a one-way network fingerprint used for abuse prevention. Messages are stored in the Supabase project used by Convr and are available only to the designated administrator. Form submissions do not generate email notifications. Contact information is used only to review and reply to the request and is deleted when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Administration
The private administration page uses Supabase authentication. Its temporary session is stored in sessionStorage and is removed when the browser tab is closed or the administrator signs out. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored in Convr tables or source code.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, and Google’s CMP are not active in this build. The local preferences interface does not create an IAB TCF string and is not presented as a certified advertising CMP.
Legal bases and retention
Essential browser preferences are processed to provide the interface requested by the visitor. Optional services, if introduced, will be gated according to the applicable consent requirements and documented before activation. Local preferences remain until changed or browser storage is cleared. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational policies.
Your choices and rights
Use “Privacy choices” in the footer or the permanent corner control to review or withdraw a stored choice. You may also clear site data in your browser. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
Third-party links
Convr links to standards bodies, documentation, and other external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before material changes such as activating analytics or advertising providers. The date at the top identifies the current version.
